Growing ~ plots for one and one for all

Micro-allotments

If you want to tend an area all of your own, you can become a member and we'll allocate you a micro-allotment. These are typically 1x2m spaces and we have 35 of them.

Our members have very individual plots. One member specialises in chilli peppers; another member grows giant cabbages. No one tells you what to plant but there are always people on hand to share advice and experiences, whether you're new to growing or have your own knowledge to share. Find out about membership.

Community gardening for everyone

Come along and help tend our community gardening areas ~ the big vegetable patches, herb borders, fruit bushes, trees, and foraging garden. There are always little tasks to help with as we move through the growing year from sowing to harvesting. Everyone is welcome.

Herb garden

The Growing Kitchen has a herb garden with a wide variety of herbs used in our global recipe book. If you can't find something you want, come and plant it with us.

Foraging garden

If you're a blackbird, a squirrel, a human or anyone else, we have foraging for you to explore and enjoy. Blackberries, rasberries, hazelnuts, almonds, figs, blackcurrants, saladings, apples, pears, herbs and more.
